what kind of exercises can I do if I cannot walk or stand?!

Question:
Had 3 bone fusion in one foot, tendon replaced in the other
Answers:
You might be able to do the bike, since it is done seated. Or pool exercises are another alternative, since the bouancy of the water will decrease the amount of weight bearing you do through your feet. If neither of these will work, you can defenitely do the UBE (upper body egometer -- a "bike" pedalled by using your arms) or try upper body weight lifting exercises. Check with a local gym or YMCA for a trainer that can show you.

Other Answers:
If you can lay on your back, it might be helpful to try floor pilates. Strengthen your stomach, legs, and back. Pilates might not be good for your legs, but they have modified versions on the Winsor Pilates so that if you have any kind of pain, to do that position instead and it does the same thing. Always ask a doctor though. Or try a physical therapist? On top of which, will keep you going if afterwards you can do exercises to start adding weights, and different kinds of cardio.
Hope you feel better :)
