what is the cost of a membership at curves?!
Question:
I just need a good meaningful workout that can give me results and that I enjoy. I run but I hate it.
Answers:
gyms loathe to quote an actual price. I joined a gym 2 weeks ago and this is what happened to me-- I went in as a referral from a coworker, so they said the enrollment fee of $120 would only be $70 because of the referral. I got the hard-sell sales pitch but I didn't sit down with them to discuss anything.
The next day I get a phone call about some new "special" that waives the enrollment fee but I had to sign up that day. I didn't call back, magically that no enrollment fee special was still there the next day. So I did sign up.
My point is, walk out the first time you visit, ask for a free day pass, be bold! Then hold out for a better deal because it will be coming to you shortly. Be interested yet vague and it'll drive them nuts.
good luck!

"Curves" and "Contours" are basically the same. I know because I know ppl who have memberships at both places. I have a membership at Contours. They have a deal where if u are an employee at certain places you get a monthly discount. Those places pretty much include every hospital, factory, etc. in that town, and they don't check to make sure you really do work there. I got a $10 discount that way, which made my monthly fee $24, and i had to sign a years contract and let them take it out of my bank account each month.
