I dont dance for this reason I cant go to clubs and hangout, which I really love!

Question:
All do all sorts of things, like drink socially, love people to be people and be in crowds. But when it comes to dancing I cant. I am paranoid about it. I lost a few of my friends because of it. Like it was one of my friends birthday, he was throwing a dance party, I could not help myself attending it. Now she wont talk to me. Can somebody suggest me some ways to deal with it.
Answers:
I know a lot of people who go to clubs and just don't dance. You don't have to explain, or anything - if people ask you, just say "I don't dance".

The suggestion to take a dance class at a fitness studio is a great one - mine has "Hip Hop" and "MTV Moves" classes - great way to see what people are doing, and see in really big mirrors what you look like when you do the moves. So you can decide if you should be dancing or not!

I'm puzzled how you could lose friends over how you dance? As long as you do your thing, nobody should care. But I would advise you not to touch other people when you dance - that could be something that could end up costing you friends.

Other Answers:
Get some hip-hop exercise videos or attend a dance class, or just don't and forget her. You don't have to go to clubs and dance, just go and have fun!

U need to find out why you are so crazy about it first.

loosen up dude! inside everyone, there is a fabulous dancer. yes, even you.it's all a matter of whether you let it out or not. if youre not self conscious about what other ppl will think then you can just let loose and enjoy yourself. and that friend hsould get over herself.

just go out there and dance or just forget it
