Is it bad to wash your hair everyday with conditioner what will it do to you NE!

Question:
I wash my hair Everyday with a little shampoo and lot's of conditioner I do this because I have curly hair and it's so hard to comb without washing it need Advice
Answers:
Buy a clarifying shampoo and use that at least once a week, apart from your regular shampoo. The build up from the conditioner can leave your scalp, flaky. Also think about getting your hair straightened--that way you don't need to wash it every day.

I had never straightened my hair before, and one day I decided to, I was so nervous, but I bought the Black hair relaxer product with NO LYE, and followed the EASY instructions, and in 20minutes my hair was straight. I do this 2x a year. You only need to relax the new hair growth, and since your hair grows an inch a month, you don't need to do it that often. It's great, I don't wash my hair as much, I don't have conditioner build up, and I can sleep an extra 45minutes in the morning.

If I use conditioner every day my hair gets greasy.. try shampooing every day but using conditioner every other day.

yes beacause if you put too much your hair will go away.

well i guess that you are ok. washing everyday will take out all the oil, but if it helps your hair then resume

you should really only wash your hair everyday if you have thin hair, try using a detangling spray instead and only wash you hair every 2 - 3 days

it is agood thing that u wash ur hair every day but,use less cond. and buy a detangler for ur hair.

It's not bad. But the conditioner will cause a buildup.

Every 2 weeks, use 1/3 Cup of vinegar, 1/3 cup of baking soda. and 1/3 C water + 2 oz shampoo (mixed together) and drizzle it over your scalp and work through your hair. This will remove the buildup of waxes.

Good Luck.

I do it and I still have great hair .am 49 years old ( you should switch brands every so often, tho)

My wife washes her curly hair every other day and just rinses it with water on the opposing days. This seems to work well for her. She uses a styling gel/liquid every day.

No I do not think it does anything to your hair. I do that as well and I have since I was 12 so I do think you have anything to worry about.

do it evry other day than your fine my curly to

Greasy hair is all you'll get! Don't over-use the conditioner! You'll end up looking like you HAVEN'T washed -- which isn't the case at all! Good luck!

why don't you try a spray in moisturiser for curly hair you wont have to wash every day

It can produce product buildup on the hair. Just wash with a clarifying shampoo every week or two and you will be fine. You can buy a clarifying shampoo at any salon.

If your hair is normal to dry, only wash it about 3-4 times a week. If it is a little oily, 4-5 times. Washing your hair everyday takes away the natural oils that your scalp produces that you hair needs. Too much conditioner is never a good thing, it can make your hair very greasy. If you are having problems with tangles, I would recommend using a leave-in conditioner, or a detangling formula instead.

You've got the right idea. You could even skip the shampoo most days, and only use the conditioner. When you do use shampoo, only apply a small amount to your scalp and massage your scalp with the pads of your fingers. Also, you don't need to rinse the conditioner all the way out - it helps to weigh down curly hair a bit and it also helps to improve manageablilty and shine.

Many magazines suggest washing your hair every other day because too much shampooing will cause build-up on hair and dull, flatten, and dim hair color and shine. That's why I shampoo every other day even if I shower everyday. Also, on the days where I don't use shampoo/conditioner, before getting out I take a little bit of conditioner and distribute evenly in hair. It makes it soft, shiny, and healthy. It's a great leave-in conditioner.

Personal experience ; )

I wash and use conditioner every day, and ..there have been no ill effects ;).

I have curly hair too.
I only wash it every other day with shampoo and I use a leave in conditioner from the Patene line. Curly hair is naturally dry. And washing with shampoo every day strips your hair of natural oils. Dove makes a line of products that don't strip your hair as much, why not give them a try?

Don't wash it every day, cos ur hair need some of it's natural oils

do not shampoo everyday. because frequent wash removed the oil that is needed on ur scalp, and therefore, it gets greasy easier. u can condition, just dont shampoo everyday. because shampooing.. i believe.. is the part that removed the oil.
