Question:

Answers:
They dont see themselves on reality or on the inside. So many yound adults are trying to look like models, actresses, actors, but thats not possible you are who you are. Just because you feel fat and ugly it does not mean its true.Everyone is beautiful regardless of size, age, color. Embrace what you have love it, flaunt it. Stop becoming obsessed its not going to help. You are you nomatter what you do.

Other Answers:
Because they have a distorted body self-image. They really do think they look fat, hard as it is for those of us without it to comprehend. They also tend to have low self-esteen, possibly depression, and a whole host of other distorted cognitions about themselves, hunger, satiety, beauty, worth.I could go on. Its a horrible disease and 1 in 10 die from it.

becuz they are very insecure about themselves and have a very low self-esteem

Anorexics have body issues (and most likely control issues in the first place) and don't see themselves in the same way that "normal" people do. It is a disorder and people with anorexia need to be helped to see that they are too thin and are hurting themselves. There is some sort of mental block that doesn't allow them to acknowledge this when they are at the height of their disorder. And some of them don't think they're fat and ugly no matter how much weight they lose. Some of them go around thinking about how hot they look and how much hotter they'll be if they can keep losing weight. It's got more to do with body image and self-esteem and control issues I think than anything else.

People are never satisfied of what they are.
They want more and more.

as an anorexic myself i can tell u that it has nothing 2 do wit themselves but more wit wat ppl say about them. they get low self esteem and feel insecure and are under the perception that everyone is talking about them. its really hard
