In what way does black hair get affected by the sun?!

Like blonde hair gets more blonde, etc.So does black hair get benefitted in any way?

Black hair becomes redder..for some reason the sun bleaches/lightens it and the red high-lites come out.
Benefits: if you like the reddish high-lites, then yes!
