Metronidazole injection IP for IV Use expired on Jan 2006 was injected mistakenly by hospital staff twice in a day.

a drug just looses it's potency.. they should give you that FREE for the FUGUP though

Drugs are normally considered still effective after a year of their expiration date. That way, mistakes like that are not so bad. The only side effects he may get would be the ones that normally come with the med.
