No of course its not wrong. its part of nature. God created our bodies so it is possible to do this. You can be a good catholic and be a sexual being. Catholicism has changed a lot, and it will change a lot in the future. If you are having sex or sexual relations with somebody you love and respect then I see no problem. You can still be a good catholic, pray to god, be a good person.
I suppose it is up to yourself.if you believe that you should wait until you are married then thats fine too. Just dont be too hard on yourself. Life is difficult enough. And.remember, it is normal to have sexual feelings, its not a sin. Its all natural. After all, pretty soon Id say priests will be allowed to marry .well I think they should be anyway. The reasoning comes out of the story about Onan (Genesis 38:7-9), a man who was married to his brother's wife after his brother died (a common custom). When they consumated the marriage, he refused to ejaculate inside of her because he didn't want her to have a child that would be considered (by custom) his brother's. God struck him dead. Some have argued that he was killed for not wanting to give his brother a child, but the punishment (by custom) for that is public humiliation, not death. (Deuteronomy 25:7-10) From this, one can conclude that ejaculating outside of a normal marital sexual relationship is sinful.
As to Henry's anwser: "if it feels good, do it" is a current cultural idea . . . one that leads us to many sins.
i would DEFF agree with nova, but it seems that no one here has given you a way to STOP. That is probably the ONLY reason you question that, because if you are catholic you KNOW its wrong. I would say the BEST way is to get accountbility, but definently seek a mentor. Stay in the word, out of the overflow of the Holy spirit, you wont even think or need to mb.
