Use a good moisturizing lotion. Also, if you use Dove body wash in the tub or shower, it helps tremendously. The best lotion that I have ever used is by Australian Gold, and it's called "After Tan Moisturizer." (formerly known as Moisture Lock). Another good one is Lubraderm, and it's less expensive.

You also need to take into consideration.is the dry skin due to weather, or are you having an allergic reaction to something? If it's due to the weather, then the products that I mentioned above is the way to go. If it's due to allergies of some sort, Benedryl has a good cream that will get rid of the itchy's.

I have extremely dry skin because I am diabetic. As long as I keep lotion on, I am fine. I hope this helps!

Eucerin cream or if it is really bad you may have eczema and can get a prescrition cream from your doc.

gold bond medicated cream,is excellent,as i suffer from dry skin myself and exzema. ialways lather up with alot of lotion after abath or shower, which keeps my skin soft.also if it is real severe a dermatoligist can write you a rx for medicated cream which will help with the itch.

These are all good suggestions, but I gotta agree with Zoya first--go to your doctor. Last fall I started itching, and it has been driving me crazy. Mine are hives, and the dermatologist has me on antihistimines and a special skin cream which has finally brought relief. Chances are yours is that dry winter skin and all you'll need is Aveeno or Gold Bond, but just in case, see the expert first.

RX from the Dr. "Triminiclone" or Luberiderm, Eucerin Cream works too,

I use aveeno lotion..it helps a LOT!

Consider trying petroleum jelly.
