What can I do to get rid of ticks on my body?!

Question:
I found a tick on my lower bum area, and now I have two hard bumps in the same region. I am paranoid now that there might be more ticks on me. Is there a special bath or chemical thing that I can do to make sure all the ticks are gone?
Answers:
If you develop a ring rash at the bite site, see a doctor immediately. Ticks can transmit a lot of diseases including Lyme disease.

Nope. Step into a real quiet room and listen for a tickin.jk

No bath..have someone look over your backside and scalp for any of these little buggers. If you catch them in time before they have bit, you are lucky!

If they have decided to suck a meal outta you, you have to remove them promptly. Now the redneck way is to take a kitchen match, light it, blow it out and stick the hot head on the ticks butt. This is no longer a reccommended method.

Twwezers may work but.pulll gently but steadily being careful NOT to leave the head!

This method has worked for me.

Prevention is the key. DEET type sprays repel ticks as doe proper clothing such as long sleeved shirts, caps, and jeans tucked into the boots.

Good luck!

Ticks can cause a lot of problems with your blood and
internal organs. To find out what is causing the bumps
you need to have them examined by a doctor.
If the ticks are not removed in a correct manner, sometimes
the head ( which is very small and hard to see)will stay embedded in your body and cause minor or serious infections.

No there is no bath but get checked all over. If you have a rash that looks like a bullseye you need to go to dr. I just found one in my head today and I can't take it out my self.I have to wait till my hubby gets home. Hes a emt.
