Why can't you take Advil and Aleve together?!

Question:
I really need to know as soon as possible! Thanks!
Answers:
it will make your blood too thin. I am on blood thinners, and I am not allowed to take aleve, but I am allowed to take tylenol.

Other Answers:
you could and would probably be okay but there are just reactions sometimes when you mix two chemicals together. Take advil and Tylenol together and that will do the job. Thats what my doctor recomended

the chemicals will react with each other in a bad way.

They're both in the same family of medicine. They're both anti-inflammatories. Too much can cause internal bleeding. Take one or the other, but not both. The class of meds is "NSAIDS" .
