I think it's just something that's become popular because:
a) face it, society makes us unhappy with our bodies.
b) it's become safer and safer and even not so expensive to do nowadays, compared to maybe 10+ years ago.

I have saline implants and I love them! I'm 37 now and I've had them since I was 33. I got them because I wanted to feel better about myself and to look proportionate. I went from a 34A to 34C or D so I didn't get monstrously large. I think they make me look better. Also, when I was growing up, my sister got all the chest and I got all the height. (She and everyone else made fun of me a lot.) I think for me, that my self-esteem has improved because I feel a lot better about myself.

it sounds like you got big breasts, but for woman who don't breast implants is a wonderful option.I kno if I had the money for it, who? Butt implants is actually the phenomeon becoming more popular though :)
I disagree with getting implants. Be happy the way u look, u are beautiful just the way u are. God made everyone unique and everyone should be very proud of that.
Why should you put yourself through it unless you are looking for attention from the wrong guy. Why should any lady put themselves through it?
