Get right with yourself and your loved ones. Don't worry about hell, hell is for unempathetic jerks who use their god as a weapon, who act like they are concerned for your soul and can't begin to understand what it means to be human. Don't give up hope, life has a way of surprising you and definitely get other medical opinions. My sister was diagonosed with cancer over 4 years ago and she is in total remission. Good luck and don't let the disease become who you are, everyone should live life no matter how long.

Expect that you had better be right with the Lord or you are going to burn. That is no joke.

Oh, Lord, I am so sorry to hear this. I honestly don't know what to tell you to expect. Have you gotten a second opinion? This is a low blow. If you need to talk you can contact me and talk any time. I don't know if I will be able to help, but I can talk to you.

You didn't say what the lesions are, if they are cancer? Doctors can never fully tell how long someone will live or if they will respond to treatments. One lady I know whose husband has lung cancer that has spread to the brain, started radiation and it has shrunk the cancer so much. You can always try clinical trials, be sure you stay on top of any and all news in the cancer world. I'm assuming it's cancer of some sort.

My advice to you would be the above, and also to never lose hope but face reality. Make peace with those you need to, tell people you love them, and live life everyday to the fullest you possibly can. Try to have a will done up, get any legal papers in place so they are easily findable by family.

I'm sorry to hear you got this diagnosis. I'll say prayer for you.

Have you had a second opinon , if not GET ONE! I was told i had five to ten months to live Sept 04 with stage 4 colon cancer.. IF i had stayed with that oncologist i would be dead by now as he would not try the new treatments, I went to Duke Cancer Center in NC and they DID put me on some new drugs , chemo, and it has shrank my tumors by half, so dont go by what jsut one doctor says! I can not tell you what to expect , but my father died of brain lesions this past Feb , he just went into a coma, no pain and died in two days.. We were so happy he was in no pain and passed in his sleep. They have told me that is probably what will happen to me also as I have cancer in the lymph nodes and also a tumor on my spine..if any of it moves north, i will be in the same boat as you.
Do not believe the 8 months either, will power, the human mind is soooo powerful, if you dont get into the rut of thinking, Oh my, only five months to go, only four, etc, (like i did orginally) it will eat you up. Do what i did when they gave me my time limit. i said PFFT, i aint gonna die just to make their paperwork look good and here i still am lol. It was hard tho, i kept thinking each day , each week that went by, i was not gonna see winter, spring, my grandkids etc. until i sat down and had a good talk with myself, could continue in that line of thought or get out there and try to live whatever time i have left as best as i could! I opted for the second and it really helped.and i honestly think its what turned the chemo around and made it start working! When you are told you are terminal, it knocks you for a loop, i thought i had gallstones lol and had no idea i was truely sick. My whole life has changed , for the better i must say and this sounds crazy, but altho I lost a lot of things, my marriage ended, i lost my farm and animals, but i gained a lot also, my family and friends are closer to me than ever before, I am thankful for each sunrise and sunset I see, and things that used to bother me are not worth the time and effort to let them bother me any more! I am at peace with myself and happy for the first time in my life.
Please get a second opinion, preferably from a specialist that deals in your type of brain lesions, you didnt say if its cancer or not, my dads were from his being a diabetic at first then turned cancerous, or thats what the dr told us, BUT he never got a second opinion nor went to a specialist for it! if you do , then you may find that something is out there to help you, new drugs and prochedures are coming down the pike daily! Good luck and if you ever need someone to talk to, i am bout always home ,cept on chemo days lol , leisa
