zero confidence?!

Question:
How does a 43 year old woman get confident abut herself after all this time. Is it possible? Or am I so used to feeling this way that its much too late for me?
Answers:
You need to realise you are a person just like everyone else. No more or no less important than anybody else. Just here trying to make the best of things. Try to push yourself to put yourself out there a bit. If you are a nice person people already know that you are. So, share your opinions. Don't just think about what you should do, do it. Follow your passions be true to the way you feel inside yourself. You know "put yourself out there." Make yourself a little bit vulnerable and stray outside your "safe barrier" just a little at a time, within what you feel is comfortable. And each time you push that barrier back further it will seem easier and easier to you. You know what you need to do. Just TRY to do it. It is not too late. Seize the day!

Confidence comes from within you have to believe that you are beautyful and reassure yourself and your confidence will be seen my many.

It's never too late. You might need some professional assistance though - a severe and continual lack of confidence can actually be masking mild depression.

Otherwise, think about the things you know you're good at, and try to take pride in yourself. Try some new things, once you know you can get out there and do something you've never ever done, you'll get a boost in confidence almost guaranteed. Whatever you do, don't beat yourself up while you're trying to build confidence - telling yourself you "can't" or that you're "not good enough" never helps anything.

:) Good luck!

Join a church group. Volunteer your time. You are never too old to change. You are dead if you can't cahnge.

You can find confidence in your self. I have always suffered from low self esteem and confidence. It has taken me along time to get confident. I still have days when I don't feel confident. Have you ever thought about counseling?

It's never too late.

The only time when it's too late to do anything is when you're dead, and you're not dead so guess what? You have hope. Talk to family, friends, clergy and if all else fails, chat with a professional. Whatever you do, don't talk to Oprah and Dr. Phil! Especially Dr. Phil!
