What can you do to releive plugged up ears?!

I got a ear ache last night and i slept on a heating pad. Now my ear is plugged up and i can barely ear anything out of it.

If your ear is painful and plugged up with earwax, I found that using Similasan eardrops (Earache Relief or Ear Wax Relief) works best. Just follow the directions on the package. You can even print a $1.00 coupon from their site before heading to the store.

If it's a build up of wax, go to the drugstore and find sweet-oil. This usually works pretty good. There will be other concoctions on the shelf near it that you can try as well.
Apparently if you make a funnel out of a large piece of paper (ie Newspaper) and put the small end in your ear but light the other end on fire and let it slowly burn maybe half way. You should get a sort of funny sound and sort of poof when the fire melts the wax and the air tunnel clears the way. It's pretty interesting to watch.
