Is there any free help out there for people that have hypothyroid?!

I am 31 years old and was diagnosed with hypothyroid 2 1/2 years ago and since then I have gained over 70 lb from 155 to 220 I am miserable and cannot afford the help that I need to get back to normal feels like my life is falling apart with all the symptoms I posess can someone help me??

As far as assistance with seeing a doctor or other medical care, check with local health departmants, clinics and even hospitals. Many hospitals and some private doctors have programs to help low income people to recieve treatment for little or no cost. Many times a chaplans office inthe hospital is a great place to start. If you are of low income I would also check with Social Security, State and local health departments and social service organizations like St. Vincent DePaul or the Salvation Army.
