i have never actually seen that before but i think it sounds kindof gross. no offense. i think trimming would be good, but shaving completely is a little odd.
As a man, I think it looks pretty weird.
Do whatever works for you. You said it all, you do it and never got a complaint.
Some peopel worry about ingrown hairs or the itchyness of growback. But if you keep it up, you never have to worry.
In the end it probably does not matter much and is just a personal preference.

shaveing is a good idea to protect from infection but ia hd a probalm with that after some time it grows and tsrts pricking your partner it will be a irrtaing experience i dont knwo abot others how they mange but i stopped doing taht after that bad expericne of mine
