Why do some people with Osteoarthiritis feel changes of weather in their joints?!

Question:
My mother suffers from Osteoarthiritis and often, changes of weather can be felt in her joints as sharp pains - making her unable to move certain joints for small periods of time. Sometimes, she can predict a change of weather before it happens - usually, this happens with rain, and I have never known her to be wrong when she tells me that it's going to rain.
Why does it happen? Could it be possible to, in the future, build clones with severe Osteoarthiritis and use them as weather predictors?
Answers:
get her a job at the weather station. they can change those "40% chance of rain" to a thing of the past. it can read "momma's knee says rain so it'll be raining."

Its not just that! I had a hand and knee surgery years ago and believe me I KNOW when its going to get cold or rain. The doctor said its because it has become the weakest part of my body and so when the weather changes- gets cold- it zero's right in on your weak spots. Which would be my knee and hand! So its not all in her head! Hope that helps!

the changes in our surrounding i.e. nature play important role in our physiology. in cold condition flow of various body fluid is slow down particularly of joints hence in those condition pain aggreviate. hot pack are useful in such condition.

Osteoarthritis is caused by joint inflammation.Warmth would increase the circulation to the joint and therefore decrease the inflammation, while coldness causes the opposite.
