Okay I looked it up, the web site I checked said 8-8oz glasses a day minimum. They also said that although it is possible to harm yourself by drinking too much you would have to drink a ridiculous amount of water to cause that. But it can still happen so be careful.

They recommend 8 -- 8 oz. glasses per day. There is a point where too much water becomes bad for you.It changes your body's chemistry.

They used to say eight 8 oz glasses was good but last I heard the changed that to ten 8 oz glasses but YES there is a limit remember you CAN have too much of a good thing.

depends where you are.For instance, i live in mandurah,western australia,and when i was working in the north west it was extremely hot and we did a lot of sweating and had to drink heaps.I think it was about 6 liters recomended.as for a limit of water,we were allways told that you could not drink too much only not enough.

Too much water can cause seizures, heart and kidney problems. Now we're talking a ton of water here, and if you eat properly you probably won't have to worry about it. I should say as well, many health magazines will go on and on about drinking four gallons of water a day or whatever, but honestly this has little benefit. Your body does just fine on regular amounts of water. Those kidneys of yours remove toxins and keep you balanced just as well as when you drink 4 glasses of water a day or 16. So take it easy with the water, Unless you really like running to the bathroom.
