Play it safe and wear a little black dress. That never fails to fit in. You have to go with what looks good with your complection and hair. When in doubt.wear black.
my personal oppinion would be to wear white.especially if you are going to be at a dance that has black lights you light up on the floor. Any light coloured clothes looks great if you are going to be around a black light. :)
