My Aunt has been extremly dizzy and off balance for about 2 weeks she staggers a!

Question:
She can't walk very well and both of them will run into walls they are not in the same family, she has seen a doctor but, he wants her to see a ENT because he can't figure it out. She also had an MRI it showed nothing. Could this be a virus of some kind or something since now all of a sudden my cousin has it too, they also tremble and shake
Answers:
Sounds like an inner ear virus. I had it once. stood up, felt a bit dizzy but though it'd right itself in a few minutes. Got in the car to go pick up my son, turned a corner and fell over into the passenger seat! Luckily I didn't crash but had to pull over and have someone come and get me. I refused to go out in public (happened over my birthday too) because everyone who saw me thought I was drunk. I was sick to my stomach but I suffer from motion sickness too. A doctor can check for it real easy just by waving their finger back and forth in front of their eyes and watching the reaction.
My 9 month old son ended up with it too, he was just starting to walk but all of a sudden kept falling down.
I have constant vertigo because of it (always a little dizzy) but I've learned to live with it. Hopefully your aunt and cousin will come out of it ok. There's nothing the doctors can do to get rid of it, just treat the symptoms. My doc gave me something to help with the dizziness but I can't recall the name. If you need me to find out, I can try. Good luck to your family.

Are they living in the same house? Consider Carbon Monoxide poisoning if they live together. Other wise I have no idea!
