what do you think a good weight for a 5 ft 4 inch girl is?!

Question:
I am 149lbs, use to be 127 on an average when I was younger, now 26. I have always had a muscular build, so even when I am thin my weight isnt to low. I know it probably depends on the guys taste but I want to know what you all think is average..
Answers:
I'm 5 foot 4 and a half, 149, 31 years of age. I was 132 in September and people said I was pretty skinny. I think that is the low for us even for you to be muscular and 26. I think we should aim for 137 and be happy about ourselves when we reach that goal. I'm trying to loose weight. I have gained 10 lbs since Jan. Not happy bout that. At 132 , with a good set of hips, I was almost a size 4. My tip is don't wear tight jeans, it might make you think you're failing. I think women in tight jeans look heavier that women in jeans that fit properly.

I`d say..135-150

120

100 pounds or more.

At 5'4" with a muscular build, 124#. There a lot of variables but stay at a weight where you feel good.

you should be no more than 105.

your bmi is 25.6, typicly doctors say you should be around 22-24 to be in a healthier weight range, but if you feel comfortable at your current height & weight keep it up, if you do not, well one of those can't change.so you're stuck with loosing the weight, although if you're going to loose weight stick with around 2 lbs per week, or you are more likely to gain it back.you can check out myfoodguidepyramid.gov if you want to loose weight, it's got some great tips..

Body mass index results
BMI: 25.6
What it means: This is considered overweight.

What you can do
Take a moment to consider the benefits you may experience as a result of weight loss. Did you know that losing as little as 5 to 10 pounds can lower your blood pressure and reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke? Plus, your clothes may fit better and your energy levels may increase.

Next, take a minute to think about how you might approach weight loss. Know that even small steps — such as walking for 10 minutes over your lunch break or eating carrot sticks instead of potato chips — can make a big difference.

Remember: The small changes add up — keep making them and soon you'll develop lifelong, healthy habits.

More about BMI
BMI is a better estimate of body fat and health risks than are standard height and weight tables or weight alone. For most people, BMI provides an accurate estimate of weight-related health risks. However, it's not a perfect guide. Its biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may also:

Underestimate body fat for many older adults or other people with low muscle mass
Inadequately evaluate health risks of people with excess abdominal fat
On the other hand, people who are very muscular and physically fit have relatively high BMIs without added health risks.

Don't focus on number. Focus on health. Just eat right, drink lots of water, and excercise. Then don't be so worried about your weight, because you're doing your best.

Besides with good eating, excercise, and water, you'll be looking your best.
