I have been having a throbbing pain in my upper thigh and sensitivity of the ski!

Question:
The pain has moved down my leg to my foot. It started on my left upper thigh. Can anyone tell me what this may be or what could have caused this? I work in an office typing all day. I dont do anything strenuous. So I couldn’t have injured myself.
Answers:
It could either be a condition called meralgia paresthetica, which I didn't think would move down to the foot, or a lumbar disk prolapse which could indeed cause the symptoms in the foot. Go see an orthopedic doctor.

I hope you are smart enough to seek professional help. The numbness in my girlfriends fingers that she chose to ignore thinking it might be carpal tunnel was diagnosed as a brain tumor. She died within six months. I have never forgiven myself for not forcibly taking her to a Doctor instead of merely suggesting she go.
