Try this website: http://www.needymeds.com/

This is a program that hospital case coordinators and social workers use to help find free prescriptions for patients who can't otherwise afford them. I've even used it for my mother.

You can search by the medication name you need -- either by brand name, generic name, or drug manufacturer name. Once you've located the medication(s) you need, the website will give you all of the information needed to contact that particular Patient Assistance Program, usually online. It will also have links to the applications needed to apply for free (or sometimes greatly reduced) medications. Once approved, most companies will send the medications right to your door -- but sometimes they'll be sent and distributed (still for free or extremely cheap) through your doctor's office. If you have trouble filling out the applications, there is someone at your doctor's office who can help you -- usually a social worker.

You'll have to fill out an application for each drug needed, unless more than one drug comes from the same manufacturer. You'll also have to provide some financial information.to prove your financial need, and usually the doctor will have to sign, too. But, hey! It's worth it if you're able to find assistance programs that provide you with free, much needed medication.

Good luck to you!
