makeup primer?!

what is the best makeup skin primer you know of? I'm looking for something that doesn't make you break out, smooths over all those little imperfections to create a completely flawless look..?

This one is easy! Expensive, but easy. Try DHC brand Velvet Skin Coat after moisturizing, and before foundation. This stuff works miracles! It keeps your makeup in place all day and night! And it allows you to use a light foundation instead of a heavy one, so less gunk on your skin! My personal favorite foundation is MAYBELLINE Pure Makeup. Its water based and goes on top of the Velvet Skin Coat flawlessly!

I really like MAC Matte better than the skin prep if you have moderate to oily skin. But either way MAC is a winner.
everyone is nuts over smashbox primer. i used it (purchased from qvc) and hated it. everytime i use it it makes my skin feel nasty. maybe it's normal that it makes your skin feel nasty but i've got a 99% full bottle on my shelf in the bathroom. it's wasted money.
Hands down the best make up primer is Smashbox Studios "Photo finish makeup primer" it's actually exfoliating too so your skin looks better and contains an SPF. I actually wear it without foundation too ( daily) it gives you natural skin a great finish. Whats even better is the company has introduced a new "photo finished makeup primer with deramxyl complex" which reduces the apperance of fine lines and wrinkles ( immediate results as well as overtime) and also moisturizes.

I use Anna Sui's Foundation Primer and Paula Dorf's Perfect Primer. They both work really wonderful. I bought both of them at Sephora.com. I like to try a couple products to see which work the best for me but honestly, they both work great. I don't break out with either product even when my hormones are completely out of whack.
