Because it's a free country. If it's on the shelf, people will buy it and wear it.
I think most of them just want to wear whatever they want. If they have the self esteem to wear what they want, then hey, why not. That also means that they have the self esteem not to be bothered when someone asks why "fat people" do something. I think your question may be just a tad harsh.

I've answered a similar question earlier today. I guess some guys actually like it, but you'd think they could still flirt with more clothes on.

I have no idea. There ought to be a law against it.
Because they have an unrealistic concept of their bodies and what makes them attractive.
They think that if they wear super baggy clothes they'll look bad -- and their right.
But they're not finding a happy medium.
We Americans as a people seem to have a difficult time finding happy mediums and settle for extremes instead.

Because most women are fat. I say let them, if it looks disgusting, then they're making a fool of themselves, and definitely won't get respect.
Why do people think only skinny women can wear "fashion"? It's not a wonder women are throwing up after every meal.

Plus sized women should not do this, my guess is that they are insecure with themselves. I am a plus sized woman, and I would NEVER do it.

Some are proud of their bodies, no matter what the societal views of them are.
Other women don't realize what it looks like - distorted self images are very common.

Good question and it's tough to answer it.
I think many of them just don't know how ridiculous they look.
You see this almost everyday.
No one wants to be fat but why go out in public and flaunt it as if it was something to be proud of.
I don't know any guys who think it looks great.
Maybe some are trying to convince themselves that they look just fine.
SERIOUSLY, THEY HAVE LOW CONFIDENSE IN THEMSELVES, OR THEY ARE ATTENTION SEEKERS, PROSTITUTES, OR NUDEISTS.

Half of them don't care what they look like. They think the guys will look at them, which they do only to tease them.
