what does a single visible strand of hair growing on the neck mean?!

i know a girl who has a short visible strand of hair on her neck just below her the lower jaw. is it normal to have one there? does it mean anything? what will happen if she removes it?

i think it's a freak of nature. in any case, i have a friend who has a grey strand of hair groing just below her left eye. and a colleague who has a long strand of hair, grey too, on her right elbow. both of them consider these their lucky strands!

It doesn't mean anything. She can pluck it out with some tweezers if she wants or just leave it there. Nothing will happen if she removes it except it might grow back, that's all. Lots of people, women included have hairs on their necks.
It means she needs to invest in a pair of tweezers and learn how to use them. Removing the hair won't hurt or cause it to grow longer or darker, but it will grow back. Eventually, plucking it out will damage the follicle to the point that the hair will quit growing back.
