What do y'all think about tattoos? Are they tacky or cool?

i think they are cool as long as you dont go overboard on it, ex it is alright for guys to have tattoos all over the arms and such but not for a woman. a woman should have a few but no more than 13 and they should be something that they will regret getting many years later.

They're cool as long as they are (a) tasteful and (b) small and easily hidden. There's nothing worse than a woman with a tatoo on her leg that she is trying to hide by wearing pantyhose.
As long as you enjoy it, and it's not anywhere obvious, I see no problem with it. Take a while to think about it. I have two that ppl can't see without me showing them, but I don't flash them.

I don't like tattoos.besides, they are very unhealthy for the whole organism.
It depends on what it is, where it is, and how big it is. And too many colors don't help.
One or a few is cool but too many can be very tacky. Why cover your whole body? Its not cute!
I don't like the idea of someone elses art work on my body. Even if you draw something out for that person that you have in mind.

I would say that about 80% of my friends who have them, regret having got them. I personally just don't like them.I think they look trashy.
some are sexy -- on bicep, on ankle; but some are plain UGLY and nasty
I think that they are cute. But remeber they are permanent, so don't get a perverted thing tattooed on you. Think about it, would you really want a play boy tattoo on you when you are 80 years old? Just a thought.

I have 3 and I got all 3 because they remind me of something important in my life. If you get them for the right reasons, you will never regret them. Be aware though, they are addictive!

I would never put something permanent like that on my own body, I find them uncool, but I don't mind looking at them on other people. Plus it's realy none of my business what other people do with their body.

Who cares what people think? Tattoos are a personal choice. Do it if it means something to you. Big or little, hide-able or not. Do what you want. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks.
I love tattoos on a guy. size dont matter on men..for girls, cute little ones are sexy, but the big godish ones on her arm or wherever just looks tacky.unless its one on her lower back.then thats hot too
I don't think tattoos are either. It depends on the tatt and what it stands for. You shouldn't get a tatt because you think it's cool and you want to join the bandwagon. You should get one because you want one and whatever you choose to get will be an expression of you for the rest of your life.

tattoo's are cool but i only think you should get them if they mean something to you in a way, like me and my sister got one to stand for our friendship and sister connection!

Love them as long as your not sleeved with them . Tastefull sizes and locations but, Never , Never a name of some one you are dating or married to they can disapear and then your stuck with that persons name on you ,kids namse are all good .
I tolerate them on others. but I always think of someone in their 70s with a butterfly or a rose tattooed on them as well as a piercing on their belly button LOL
I quite like people who have one tiny and simple tatoo, but I do think large colourful ones are tacky. But, if you are considering having one just do what is right for you after

I don't like tattoos. It might look cool when you are young but just think about what it looks like when you are older and your skin is wrinkly plus there is that tatto! Its colours fade much in the course of time so I think it will look quite rather disgusting say at 60-70! And you cannot remove them.
