what can i do to relieve my irritable bowels?!

Question:
need help determining what foods are best for me to eat with my sensitive stomach, and how other people help alleviate their irritable bowel troubles
Answers:
LOTS of fiber and whole grains and the best multivitamin on the market is The Vitality Pack by Melaleuca. That plus their Florify and Provex will totally eliminate the problem. Or at least I have not found anyone that has tried this and not had success. I was not full blown IBS but I had colon issues. Now I can eat anything!

Other Answers:
Buttermilk. Lots and lots of buttermilk!

Start smoking. It really does help with irritable bowels. Its one of those cure worse than disease/ maybe worth it kind of situations.

take a dump!

Have your doc give you some zelnorm 6mg. I'm not a doc but this should work. BUT! I hope you have a good health plan. it will set you back some bucks. But it works good.

Wife has ibs.

I have irritable bowel syndrom. I avoid foods that are cooked outside on the grill. That's the only kind that gives me cramps. But I take Librax capsules when the pain starts. It really takes the pain away in about 30 minutes. Worst pain I ever had. I don't know that much about diet but I wanted you to know about the Librax.

My doctor said it was from my stressful job and if I don't quit it'll kill me. Eventually I couldn't walk so I quit work and I don't have any symptoms anymore.
But it took about a year at home before I got better.. Good luck!

This is hard to deal with at times. CAsuing you not to want to leave your house. I have had this for 13 years now, and the only thing that I have found to help is to take one "Imodium Advanced" in the morning, and a "caltrate Colon Health" once in the morning. During the day if you have a loose BM then take another Imodium Ad. Eating to much beef is another way to get it acting up again too. Stay away from Mcdonals and burger king. Eat more chicken a pork. Stay away from spicy foods. you can also take whats called peppermint oil. You can buy those at any store. They are small and have peppermint in them, and the good thing about those are that if you burp, it comes up peppermintly.
