how do u do crunches(situps)?!

Question:

Answers:
You lay on the floor on your back. Clasp your hands together behind your head, with your fingers interlocked. Suspend your legs with your knees bent, so that your thighs are pointing straight up and your calves are parallel to the ground. Bend up from your abdomen and touch your elbows to your knees, without pulling your legs up to your chest.

Situps are very similar. Bend your knees with your feet flat on the floor. Cross your arms on your chest, and bend up from your waist until you're sitting up.

I work out with a personal trainer and we do over 10 different styles of crunches to work different sub-groups of muscles and to keep it interesting.

Lie flat on your back.
Bend your legs/knees.
Put your hands behind your head. Then, you lift your head/upper body up, keeping your butt and legs/feet on the ground.
Do about 15-30 per day to get nice abs.

I use the declined sit-up bench at the gym first, doing twist curls (alternating twists on each sit up). then I use an ab roller, doing as many as I possibly can. then it's on to suspended leg-lifts for lower abs. I've been doing this reutine 3 times a week for three months and I now have a six-pack (not bragging, just saying it works!)

I find using the excercise ball is more effective, this way I have to use more of my core muscles to keep me in line while crunching. I can vary how hard or where the cruch wil target by how I sit on the ball.. far ahead or far back..

Lie Flat on ur Back..If u have a stool or a bedpost keep ur legs upto the calves on it with ur knees bent at ninety degrees to ur butt..Like imagine ur self on a bike just upside down..KEEP UR HANDS crisscrossed behind ur head n keep them FLAT..Come up hold for a second go down slow but not entirely..If ur elbows r in line with ur hands sideways 20 counts of this will be equal to 200 counts of normal crunches.
