Answers:
It depends on how much calories your body burns. The food doesnt matter as much as the exercise. Try to raise your heartrate as high as you can as many times a day as possible.

Other Answers:
If you stick to it yes. This is a very low fat diet and you really wouldn't be eating that much plus with the walking you will definatly loose weight! NO CHEATING and it will work! Good luck:)

try eating smaller ore frequent meals while doing high intensity interval workout such as the tabata method. 20 seconds of vigourous excercise then break for 10 seconds and repeat at least 8 times. you can alternate excercises but squats and excercises that raise your heart rate faster are the best. you have to burn calories to, not just take in less calories. you could send your body into starvation mode if you dont get enough calories. you are eating god but if you want to lose especially that much that quikly you have to workout. good luck

Shamelle, thanks for emailing me to respond. To be honest with you this sounds like a pretty good eating plan, and it sounds like a good plan for better health, but lets look at your goal.

30 lbs in a month is going to be hard on your body. Its too much. If you did force your body to lose it then within about 60-90 days you will gain it back and maybe more. The body can realistically lose about 2 lbs a week without rebound. So look at about 3-4 months to lose 30 lbs and keep it off.

So now look at your plan realistically, can you eat only that for 3-4 months? NO. I couldnt stick to that and I am a picky person about what I eat. I dont want to post a long list so I will give you a link to a previous answer about the best foods to eat and the ones to avoid. Stick with that list and you have a great chance of success, eating is the #1 reason why people either succeed or not succeed in their plan for better health.

As far as your exercise goes, 15 minutes of walking has very little impact on the body. For maximum impact you will need some type of aerobic and/or anaerobic exercise for at least 30-45 minutes and preferably both. If you dont want to or cant join a gym then a Yoga or Pilates video is a good start. Start at beginners level, so for yoga that is Hatha and Pilates is Mat Pilates and then work your way up. Combine that with walking 20-25 minutes at least, preferably on a surface that isnt flat, and you will be on your way to your goal.

Think about it like this; How long did it take you to put on those 30 lbs you want to lose? since thats over 100,000 calories that havent been burned then for most thats about 6-12 months, if not more. You want to undo something in 30 days that it took at least 200 days to do. Just like your body puts on weight at a slow gradual pace, it must take it off the same way. I know its not fair, but our bodies fight us hard to keep weight on, because when we lose it fast our bodies assume that something is wrong, the environment you live in has changed, or the food supply ran out. So it goes into starvation mode meaning it slows your metabolism and stops burning fat for energy for basic functions, and begins burning muscle. Not good. This is actually counter productive and will cause a rebound long term.

To sum it up. It seems that you are going in the right direction but still a little on the wrong path so hopefully my suggestions can help guide you to the best path for reaching your goal.
