Does Human Height increase during their sleep?!

Question:
I just want to know with some proof ( weblinks ) or something to support the answers.
Answers:
First of all, your height isn't necessarily INCREASED during sleep and it's not sleep directly that causes it.

When you are lying down sleeping at night, the pressure of gravity and your weight on your spine and bones is dramatically reduced. This causes the bones in your spinal column to move back into where there should be and it releases the pressure on them. During the day as you walk around, move, and are on the go, the effects of gravity and your weight compress the bones in the spinal column making you appear shorter. When you are sleeping you are taller because there isn't pressure on you pushing down on you that what make you appear shorter.

EDIT:
i FINALLY found a link. It was so hard to find something, but they aren't that good but good enough. Look below.

Other Answers:
supposedly it does.

yes i guess

no, but what is probably THE most important hormone involved in growing (height), called the Human Growth Hormone is secreted most during sleep.

deep sleep is needed for this hormone to be secreted in generous levels. this doesn't mean you grow instantly, however.
