my favorite is the Perricone diet (Nicholas Perricone M.D., can find his bks at the library) - helps you burn fat fast, plus it's healthy, skin looks great and you feel great on it!

The only diet that truly ever worked for me is the Low Carb/No Carb diet. In other words you do not eat anymore than 65 carbs a day and you watch your fat in take. So basically a protein diet: where you drink lots and lots of water, eat meats, cheeses, eggs etc.BUT do not eat no more than 65 carbs a day and watch your fat in take most importantly be sure to drink lots of water. So the only true way to do it is to watch what you eat, exercise and drink lots of water. To lose a pound a week all you have to do is cut out 3,500 calories a week. That is 500 a day or equal to a half a sandwich.
