Pubococcygeus exercises (also known as Kegel exercises) are isometric exercises for women to increase contactility of the vaginal muscles and to improve urine retention. They are performed by voluntary contractions of the muscles of the pelvic diaphragm and perineum. Simply put, we clench our muscles as if we were holding in pee.
