Try Over the counter stuff first..Calms Forte. If not see your doctor. I have tried Ambien and everything in between, but Valium seems to work the best for me!

Well its a old remedy try keeping a glass of water at ur bed side
or
drink a glass of milk before going to sleep
also stop watching tv or comp at least half an hour before sleeping

eat a lot of pasta and walk a lot, get some boring movies put on music you don't like. get someone to sing to you .make your life more boring .if you are always on the go stop

drink a lot of water and before bed time drink calcium vitamins such as caltrate excercize maybe 10 to 20min before going to sleep and be sure not to place any paper works in the bed room to avoid seeing it that could make you think of it and try to sleep in a dark ordeemed light. try to avoid also some musics and most importantly ask god's help for you to sleep

First of all you may have insomnia. In this case you should see a doctor. Here is other choices:
-use milk products before going to bed such as: a glass of milk with a spoon of honey, yoghurt, cheese, etc.
-Never! drink tea or coffee 6 to 12 hrs before sleeping.
-Eat 2 psoons of black mulberry jam a day.
-Take a shower before going to bed
-If you can't sleep, get out of bed and start doing sth such as reading a book
-Never! read newspapers ar watch TV before bed which may cause stress.
-Eat hot chocolate each morning
-Make your pillow cool.
-rest near the sea if possible
-Hide the clock
-Comb your hair before going to bed
-And do yoga excersices. It really works!
