Question:
I have one right now.
Answers:
As a child, 40 years ago (!), the home remedy was to gargle with luke-warm salt water. As a child it seemed to work, though whether that was because it got better quickly anyway is not known.

Strain and retain the water
This is one day's dose (three times) to be taken with honey

HOT WATER, LEMON, HONEY, AND A SHOT OF VINEGAR

i eat something cold. you could try an ice cold glass of water, ice cream, or eating ice. if that doesnt work, i would go for Halls drops or the new fruit breezers cough drops. they both work great. get better.

Drink hot chamomile tea with honey. Or, if you don't like tea, you can just take a spoonful of honey. Mary Poppins had the right idea about a spoonful of honey--it does more than just help the medicine go down.

Also, taking vitamin C really helps. Swallowing it may hurt your throat, but within a few minutes you will feel relief.

it depends on why you have the sore throat. In any case, the acupuncture remedy is to bleed a point on the thumb. and will resolve either right then and there or the next day. Otherwise, try some pineapple juice to shed the bacteria in the throat.

Yup, you need to fill a glass half full of water then put in a quarter of the glass of salt and drink it. It may taste nasty but ti will help.
