why only two arms?!

Question:
seriosly why only two arms does the human have? i mean it would make so much more sence to have three dont you think?
Answers:
We actually should say that, as mammals, we have four limbs. Two are specialized to walk, since many thousands of years ago, we assumed the erect posture and walked the Earth. As it turns out, symmetrical development is determined very early in the embryo, soon after conception, at the phase of morula and blastula, when specific genes command symmetrical division of cells and later, when specialized protein determine growth of limbs. Interestingly, Neurogenic Growth Factor, one of these proteins, determines limb nerve growth. Blockade of these factor causes loss of limb development. These growth factors are present in every animal, including frogs and insects. So, if you only have four limbs, and not eight as the spider, you can blame your genes!
hope this helps.
