Aloe Vera.it will eventually stop hurting either way but the Aloe helps draw out the heat.
Aloe is good for burns. Your sunburn will peel anyway, probably, since the tissue is damaged, but if you keep it moisturized, it shouldn't be too bad.
Aloe vera, vitamin E or at least a very moisturizing lotion with as little perfume and dyes as possible as it will sting. Drink lots of water!

However, when you first notice the sunburn, try using white vinegar. It's less expensive than noxzema or aloe, but it takes the sting out and helps the skin heal. You will smell like a salad, but it REALLY works.
I'm a very fair skinned natural blonde, and I can burn just walking to my car and back if the sun is bad enough. Really, vinegar simply does the best job.
You can`t stop the peeling ! what you see is dead skin coming off.The best advice I can give you is put on sunscreen until your skin darkens without burning. The incidence of skin cancer is rising at phenominal rates .
Its better to be pale than DEAD.
