Your sphincter muscles are so short that you need the muscles in the back of your thighs to help them. I'm really surprised that you didn't mention a jumping-type reaction to flatulence. This should also result in a higher pitched sound at the end of your fart. Much like a "Brrrr.sssquuuuuueeaaaak.*. off*"
