why does it itch after shaving?!

Question:
why does it itch down there after you shave? also is there a way to make the itching less?
Answers:
because of the shaving cream or gel. you should wash and scrub good after you shave somewhere.

Other Answers:
don't shave against the hair but with it..It will still itch but not as bad.

I'm not sure why you itch but if you put alcohol on your legs, it will sting for a bit, but the itching will stop. That's what I do and it works like a charm!

Itching is caused by the skin being irritated.

Make sure you use a shaving gel or oil - don't shave dry.
Shave in the shower to make the hair soften.
Apply a cooling balm afterward (or just plain old moisturiser with aloe vera).

I don't know but I dropped a chair on my big toes today so I'm hoping someone can help explain to me how to make that pain go away.

Itching is caused by irritation of the skin. Make sure you have a new razor and lots of shaving cream. Another thing that helps is shaving with the hair line not against it.

YES. Buy Bikini Zone at any local supermarket. Just put that on after you shave and you will not itch. You are itching because your hair is growing out. Try that, you will not be sorry. It is for like 5-6 bucks.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE SHAVING CREAM OR THE WAY THE HAIR GROWS BACK..

very sensitive area. you have to use good razors and make sure to use shaving cream or some sort of body wash.

maybe because when shaving un shave a bit of a skin too..don t shave honey..buy some wax.that s better and more effective.;)
