Question:

Answers:
If you are talking about Provera - the drug you take to start your period after an annovulatory cycle then i have to ask why you've been taking it for a whole month?? You are only supposed to take it for 7-10 days and then you should start your period within a week.

Other Answers:
probably the next cycle, it happens sometimes.

you need to see your doctor - bleeding for a month is not normal! You shouldn't worry, but you should also do something.

Talk to your doctor. Today.

Do you mean the Depo Provera? Talk to your doctor about it when you go for your next shot. It will probably get better over time though.

some people bleed constantly on provera. some still have normal periods and some stop having a period completly. It really just depends on the person. If it gets unbearable call your doctor, you might need to try a different medicine.

ask your GP for ogen (oestrogen) tablets you may be oestrogen deficient

If you mean Depo Provera - that stuff is NOT good for you. It is not natural or healthy not to get your regular cycle and can cause long term damage..

Studies released in 2004 show that Depo Provera is associated with a loss of bone density resulting in an increased risk of osteoporosis. The bone loss appears not to be reversed when the woman goes off Depo Provera. Depo is not recommended for long term use and especially not recommended when the young woman is still growing her bones. Women on Depo are advised to exercise and take in plenty of calcium. If you have taken Depo Provera for more than two years, you might want to get a bone density test. (see article on Building Healthy Bones and factsheet on calcium-containing foods )

Some women have allergic reactions to Depo Provera.

If a woman becomes pregnant while using Depo Provera, and continues her pregnancy, there may be an increased risk of premature birth.

The effects of Depo Provera on breast cancer are still unknown.
70% of women using Depo Provera gain weight. Almost half of the women using Depo Provera gain more than 5 pounds after one year of use. Many women gain more than 10 pounds.

Other side effects of Depo Provera can include headaches, nervousness, mood changes, bloating, hot flashes, decreased interest in sex, breast tenderness, acne, hair loss, and back ache.

I assume you mean depo provera. It is an injection every three months that will eventually eliminate your period. It will eventually stop but I'd consider the permanent side effects before I'd continue on using it. Depo Provera is known to cause severe and permanent bone loss. You must take a calcium supplement with it. It also can cause weight gain, this hasen't happened to me but a few others that I know have gained enormous amounts of weight. My side effect was deppresion. Be really careful taking this, it's really nice to not have a period and all but the long term effects can be quite serious.

5 years on Depo

Irregular bleeding is the most common side effect. For some there may be increased light spotting and breakthrough bleeding, whereas others may experience longer and heavier bleeding. For most women, after a year of use periods usually become fewer and lighter or may stop altogether.

New data shows that Depo Provera use decreases bone mineral density in women and adolescents — an effect that appeared greater the longer the use.
P.S. I took it for a year and a half, and it threw my hormones all helter skelter. I thought I was going nuts.
