Any home remedies for an earache?!

Question:

Answers:
You might try a hot water bottle applied to the area just behind the ear. Do you think it could be caused by sinus pressure? You might try a dose or two of decongestant.

Other Answers:
you might have wax build up. Check with the hospital because it can also be a infection.

Try heat - a blowdryer (not blowing in the ear, but to hold next to ear).

My Mom said her Dad used to blow cigar smoke in her ear when she had an earache.

sweet oil found at drug stores sweet oil is nothing more than extra virgin olive oil place in ear canal"only if there is no chance of a puncture in your eardrum"and then either a hot water bottle filled with warm water or a warm towel-dry applied to the outside of the ear-works like a charm

Heating pad, decongestants/antihistamines, aspirin. If there is any discharge or if it persists, see a doctor. Trying to treat an infection or other serious condition may worsen it. Occasionally, the pain is actually from a tooth problem, so you may need to see a dentist.
