What should i use to lighten hyperpigmented dark area in my fair skin?!

i used to get acne and it left scars then the skin around the scars became very dark ,i used many products as unitone cream,eldoquin but it wouldn't lighten again,though i'm fair skinned already,this problem is very irritating to me,plz help me.
