what are the disadvantages of sleeping late?!

Question:

Answers:
The disadvantages are both biological and sociological. Sleep researchers have found recently that people who sleep more than 9 hours (or less than 5 hours) have less cognitive abilities than those who sleep between 5 and 9 hours.
Sleeping late also can lead to all kinds of sociological problems (late for school/work/appointments.)

Other Answers:
You miss a lot.

Whenever I sleep for more than 9 hours, I always feel very, very tired.

It's actually bad for your metabolism to sleep late. Your body gets used to that stasis. It's actually best for you to get up early and excercise for 15 or more inutes, even if it's just a brisk walk around the block.
You'll also find that your metabolism speeds up and you'll have more energy throughout the day.

getting up late

you only get to LIVE HALF YOUR LIFE.

You miss watching the sunrise, morning news, that first cup of coffee (or double chocolate chip frappacino from Starbucks)that gets you going, the morning dew, being the first to say "I love you" to your family, friends, or pet. Save the sleeping in for special occasions, you'll appreciate it so much more.

Aw you feel like you've missed half the day and not started as you mean to go on.

If you go to bed late, nothing. Most people fall into three categories. I personally am a night owl. I naturally stay awake until 12-1 am. I then sleep and wake up naturally around 8-9am. Other people are larks. They wake up early naturally. However, that means they go to bed early also. Everybody needs between 6-9 hours of sleep a night, and it helps if it is the same time every day.
