Some people undergo plastic sugery to look like a celebrity or to look beautiful. Does it mean to lose one's identity?
Answers:
Platsic surgery is one the best discoveries the medical field has found so far. For those who do surgery to make them look better and correct the disfigurement, it wont mean a lot. But for those who has lost their face in some accident(like the dog bite incident where she lost a major portion of her face) means a hell a lot for her. She got back a face though not an exact replica but somewhat she has a face.
Without platsic surgery she couldnt have dreamnt this, and she was the happiest person on this world on seeing her face again.
This joy would have not been possible if there was no palstic surgery.

Not less you are really disfigured.. Maybe these processes will improve in the near future, but now they are still lacking.
No. Some people are unfortunate to have some very ugly noses or chins or something else. I have nothing against it. Some people are jealous and say it is fake, especially women, but they dye their hair, put make-up on etc..
I think it boosts confidence.
Some people go too far though and do look fake and really do not need it for a minor flaw.
