I've been using the remnants of a flannel shirt for years on my glasses and never have streaks. [a little spit does help things go smoothly.]

I wash them using Dawn dish detergent and water . . . rinse well with warm water and then dry with a very soft cloth or paper towel (Like Viva).

i use hot water and a very soft towel.

use a soft side cloth and you can use basic soap and water when cleaning your glasses

you can buy a special piece of cloth, about half the size of a small hankerchief. theyr no more than $8.

ask your eye doctor or the place you got your glasses from to give you one of those special mini towel thingies. you can put them in the washer when they get dirty after a lot of uses, and best of all. it works like a charm!

I use the eye cleaner things.yeah i know..not very descriptive. You can buy it at any store.

USE THE GLASS CLEANER THY PROVIDE U WITH. OR U CAN USE SOAP AND WATER.

microfiber cloth and alcohol, glass cleaner or the stuff the sell in Costco Optical for $6 which comes with 2 cloths, 2 spray bottles and free refills for life.

You can get one of those cleaners from sunglass hut. They come with a spray type cleaner with a special cloth. If you need to clean it thoroughly, use hot water with mild soap.

There is a product from "Stanley Home Products" called, Look-See. Just use a squirt and use a soft cotton cloth or even newspaper to clean and it dries -- streak free!!

take face powder keep on glass and rub with smooth cloth

What works for me, and others have suggested, is hot water and dish detergent. Also, you may not have to wipe dry. My glasses have an antireflection coating which seems to repel water. If I rinse off the detergent and then run the water onto the edge of the lens so it runs down both sides, it runs off completely leaving no drops.

do not use window cleaner-ever! If you have any type of coating on your lenses you should use the specially formulated eyeglass cleaner for them with the microfiber cloth. Its a pain but if you don't take care of them, the coating will warp and the lenses will scratch up relatively soon. No coating? Basic eyeglass cleaner and a soft cloth or the soap and warm water is good too.NO TISSUES.

Do not use chemicals on your glasses. They can damage the lens material and make it even harder to see out of them. The best (and easiest) way to clean them is to run them under a little bit of water and dry them with a soft, lint-free cloth.
