What should I wear to my visit at Emerson College in Boston tomorrow afternoon?!
Question:
Well, it's in Boston, and I want to look really nice. I'm a 17 year old boy, I have messy brown hair, blue eyes, and a pretty good body. I guess.
I have an unlimited wardrobe, seriously. You name it, I have it. I have over 200 shirts, and probably about 15 pairs of pants and shorts.
So, what should I wear to convey that "I'm-too-good-for-this-school,. look?
Any suggestions?

Depends on the weather. But I'd make your hair a little less messy, make it looked styled messy as opposed to messy messy. Then wear some sort of nice pin striped pant on the bottom (a black or dark brown) and then wear a brown or black leather belt (depending on the color of the pant) with it. Then wear the same color loafers as the belt or leather sandals. Then wear a collared shirt under a sweater. Maybe red sweater and white collared shirt. Make sure both shirts are nicely tucked in. If it's too hot to wear a sweater then wear a red collared shirt tucked in with a matching tie. Good luck.
PS. Make sure all the clothes fit nicely too and nothing is hanging out or bagging up.

If this is for an interview, I always recommend a coat and tie. If this just an informative visit with a tour, a nice shirt and pair of dress slacks would look good. And always, nice shoes and socks.

If you go with the outfit you describe, you will not look impressive. You will look like a 17 year old kid who doesn't want to be there and thinks he can waltz through life. Now is the time to grow up a little. You don't need to look stuffy and nerdy, but look respectable. You need to convince this college why they would want you. And colleges won't want you just because you "look cool."

If a suit seems like too much to you, at least wear a button-down Oxford shirt with some dress slacks and very nice, polished shoes. A decent necktie wouldn't hurt. Your slacks, socks and shoes need to match impeccably, of course. All of your clothes should be nearly pressed.
man, wear a wife beater and some blue jean shorts, and some flip flops, then talk so intelligent, so that they won't comprehend what the hell just happen, don't impress no one but yourself!
Your best bet is to wear khakis and a collared shirt. No need for suit and tie, but presentable and not like I don't give a Sh*t with jeans and a t-shirt.
I think that if you wear clean, pressed clothes that fit you properly you will do fine reguardless of what you wear. Although cloths certainly do not make the man, it does go a long way if you dress appropriately for your age with a bit of elegance.
