why am I so scared of my landlord?!
Question:
I have some termite damage in my apartment and I am afraid to tell my landord. I have been afraid of them for a long time now, even when I go home I tiptoe around and try to not to make any noise because I am afraid they may come into my apartment. My place is a little messy, nothing like old food or stuff like that hanging around, mostly paper on the desk or socks on the floor type of messy. They are neat freeks. Anyway I am really scared of them and I cant figure out why. In all other aspects of my life ( Job, friends etc ) I am quite normal.

If they are like my friends landlord then its cos they think as you're staying in their house they have access to your body too.
masybe you know your doing somethign they wont like and they have the power to throw you out so that could be the reason
if they arent psychos or anything why are u afraid, are u doing things u shouldnt be? i get along w/ mine well but we keep an emaculate house.
Straighten up your place and report the termites immediately. I'm sure in the long run THEY will appreciate it since it is their place.
i guess its coz they are superior almost like a boss.they do controll the roof over your head..so i guess its normal to be worried,or worried that they might think your messy and not treating there place right and they might look down on you for it..he he we all have different ways of living im pretty messy to.as for the termites you cant help that its not your fault they are there.have a tidy up and call them in pretend u dont know what they are and tell them they have only been there a few days youll be fine!
it becuase they have say over where you live, i would tell them about the termite damage, my mother is a landlord and it is much easyier to fix one thing at a time instead of all at the end, also your security deposite will probably suffer some if you dont say anything till the end, and as far as them being neat freaks.your renting it so as long as you dont break anything they cant say anything, and they cant just walk in unless you said they could.landlords are people too, they just dont wanna get screwed like everyone else
you are probably scared because you a landlord's sterotype is scary, and that image is stuck in your head. and about the termites, it is not because of yu, these are natural creatures, but you must take action, call a company of some type that terminates them or try using other medicene. that will show ur landlord that you are taking care of ur apartment.
you can call a exterminator yourself and they can get rid of the termites .. or you can buy bombs and set them off the kind that kills ants termites roaches spiders and other bugs..you can write your lanlord a letter telling him the problem set a time for him to come and check it out and have one of your friends there with you when he comes inside your appartment,
