if you have a problem with the neck will it make your arms hurt?!

Question:
my neck doesn't hurt much but it hurts the left my arms when changeing clothes
Answers:
Yes. Different nerves run to different parts of the shoulder or arm. I recommend you go to a physiotherapist, and tell the person exactly where it hurts, and what makes the pain worse or better. They often take several visits to do much good, so be prepared for that.

They may use manipulation, heat, ultrasound and / or massage, to relieve the pain. They should describe exercises for you to do, in between seeing them.

Personally, I generally just resort to analgesics and wait for it to settle of its own accord, but I have gone to a physiotherapist, for a few problems, over the years.

Other Answers:
Yes this can affect your arms. See your doctor, could be arthritis, a pinched nerve, etc. Don't wait too long as it could get worse..

Sure see a Physiotherapist to receive appropriate treatment.

yes that may occur
but instead for self-medication or visit a physiotherapist i recommend you to see an orthopedist so he can run you a medical examination and/or studies (like CT scan or a resonance) to know the reason of your pain and the correct treatment.

Yes, it sounds like you have cervical radiculopathy or a herniated disc in your neck, which causes arm pain because nerves in your neck run through your arms -- so often a neck problem will show up as arm symptoms such as pain, numbness, tingling or weakness. In order to determine this for certain, though, you need to see an orthopedic surgeon so that the appropriate diagnostic studies (probably an MRI scan and/or an EMG and nerve conduction studies) can be performed. Once a definite diagnosis is determined, a treatment plan can be implemented. In most cases, the treatment will consist of activity modifications, physical therapy, and medications. However, you should not see a physical therapist until you first see an orthopedic surgeon because usually, a physical therapist can only treat you according to orders from a doctor.
