Answers:
Congrats on being able to have a baby in spite of the Endo. Having a baby is not a cure, as some mistakenly believe. You need to have the disease treated effectively, particularly if you are experiencing secondary infertility, as you mentioned in response to the oral contraceptive suggestion (OCs are also not curative or even the best treatment for the disease). I suggest seeing a true Endo specialist and perhaps even involving a Reproductive Endocrinologist if infertility persists; chances are once you get the disease effectively removed, the infertility will resolve, but if not, an RE can help you go through necessary protocols. See www.centerforendo.com for information on effective treatment for the disease. Good luck and remember you're not alone! www.endocenter.org

It is so funny because we talked about endometriosis in class so i understand what you are talking about. My hunman disease class. Anyway the best way to help your body is to go on Birth control pills. Seriously. Go explain the problem to your OBGYN and ask for Birth control PILLS. tablets, not the patch or anything else. U want the pills. If you dont smoke or have a history of heart disease or strokes in your family, then take the pills. They help. My professor explained that one of his daughters friends at the age of 11 or 12 had a friend who had bad endometriosis and the daughter had to be put on BC pills. Her parents were super catholic too, and had to do it because it helped their daughter. Pills regulated your period and lessen the pain AND your periods are shorter. Like my periods were 5-7days and on the pill went to 3-5 days!! Usually 3 days. That is the only real solution.
